AFTERCARE & APPOINTMENT PREP

APPOINTMENT PREP:

Please arrive to your appointment with a clean makeup free face, & lashes.
Full sets take about 3.5-4.5 hours, & fills take about 2-3 hours so please schedule your appointments accordingly with sufficient time. I love what I do, therefor I will not rush my service. It is my commitment to provide excellence and strive for perfection and I refuse to be rushed and give you a mediocre service or jeopardize quality.

AFTERCARE:

You cannot get your lashes wet for 24 hours.
After the 24 hours, it is extremely important that you wash your lashes regularly. This will eliminate and prevent any yucky buildup that may lead to an infection, and daily cleansing will increase the longevity (retention) of your lashes.
Do not pick, or pull on your lashes with your fingers or any tools. This will automatically make your extensions fall while pulling your natural lash before it is ready to shed; causing damage & trauma to your follicle which can lead to gaps within your natural lash line.
Do not use a curler or apply mascara on your lash extensions.
Stay away from hot/high temperatures as this may cause bad retention & or literal burning of lash extensions. (Tanning, ovens, blow dryer on high/hot, lighters when smoking, etc)
Try to sleep on your back.
Abstain from allowing any makeup & skincare products on your lashes as it may lead to poor retention.
Lightly brush your lashes daily with a clean lash wand.

APPOINTMENT PREP:

You must go 2.5-4 weeks without shaving or trimming when looking to book a Brazilian wax. Ideally, the hair must be at least 1/4 of an inch (about the size of a grain of rice) or longer in order to be serviced. The longer/more grown out it is, the smoother the outcome will be.
Exfoliating 48 hours before your appointment will help soften up the hair, eliminate dead skin cells, and unclog any pores and ingrowns resulting in a more efficient service.
On the day of your appointment, wear comfy underwear, and loose-fitting pants to prevent any discomfort & irritation. "Granny panties" & sweat pants is the way to go!
Drink lots of water the day of, make sure you're hydrated!
No aspirin, alcohol, or caffeine is recommended before your appointment as they thin out blood and will increase any pain levels.
Tylenol or ibuprofen is acceptable 30-40 minutes before your appointment to help with pain tolerance.
Taking a nice warm shower before your appointment will have your body relaxed, eliminate any bacteria on your skin, and help loosen up the hair follicles resulting in a more comfortable service.
If you are on your cycle, that is okay and you may still be serviced! Just make sure to have a tampon in before we proceed with the service.

AFTERCARE:

It is crucial that you exfoliate 48 hours after your appointment, and 2-3 days a week in between appointments. This helps maintain your skin smooth by removing dead skin cells and will help prevent ingrowns. I have exfoliating products available for retail that you can ask me about and purchase on the day of your appointment.
For 24 hours avoid sweating and being in hot temperatures. (No working out, sauna rooms, tanning, etc.)
For 24-48 hours do not go swimming, or participate in sexual activities.
Avoid wearing tight clothing (leggings, skinny jeans) and tight undies (thongs, lace material) the day of.
Schedule your next wax appointment anywhere between 3-6 weeks, however if you are just beginning your waxing journey I recommend monthly appointments.

AFTERCARE:

Do not get your eyebrows wet or apply any makeup or skincare products on or around your eyebrows for 24-48 hours.
Refrain from sleeping on your face the night of your appointment.
When proceeding with your skincare routine, do not apply skincare products directly onto your eyebrows as this may cause the lamination effect to not last.
2 days after your appointment, you may begin applying the aftercare oil provided; A little goes a long way. You can apply once a day every day, or as needed.
Brush your eyebrows back into shape with a clean brush when you wake up, after you wash your face, when you get out of the shower, etc.
You may apply gel onto your brows until your next appointment to help keep that fresh laminated look, however, it is not necessary.
Book an appointment for every 8 weeks

APPOINTMENT PREP:

Please show up for your appointment with a clean face, and free from any makeup residue.
Make sure you have your eyebrows previously groomed to ensure seamless results.
A waxed or shaved face is recommended, but not required. Getting rid of any peach fuzz and unwanted hair on the face will result in an effortless application and flawless base.
